Read the Syllabus carefully, it will help you organize the sequence of activities
so that you can become more comfortable with our class routine.

Technology/Hardware Needed

1. Computer (Mac or PC) with at least 2 GB of RAM

2. Internet Connection

3. Printer access

4. Email address: add for classmates and instructor (MyClass@Fuhriman.us)

5. Ability to access, navigate and saving favorites on the Internet

6. Communicate online through email and MSN Messenger

7. Skills to copy, save, or paste images by right clicking;

8. Microsoft Word: basic copy, cut, paste, edit, format, spell & grammar check, and acquire "Readability data."

Software Programs

1. Internet Explorer 7.0 or later (Internet Browser)

2. MSN Messenger (Communication)

3. Microsoft Word (All text files)

4. Microsoft PowerPoint (For presentations)

5. Inspiration 7.0 or later (Concept Mapping)

Supplies & Materials Needed

1. One ream of paper (500 sheets)

2. Course Anthology

3. Journal Sheets for:
   *   Daily Topic Reflection
   *   Assignment/Task Record
   *   Word Study
   *   60" Second Tests
   *   Culminating Events (Projects)

4. Hardcopy of:
   *   Syllabus, Lessons, Learning Events, Assessment Rubrics;
   *   Formats for assignments, note-taking, paragraphs, essays
   *   Study Guides
